Rhythms of the Manding est une étude autour du djembé, sur certains aspects des langages des rythmes mandingues, notamment malinké et bambara : griots, rythmes, instruments, danses, chants. Ce magnifique album est réalisé en compagnie du Burkinabé Adama Dramé, excellent joueur de Djembé, un instrument originaire du Nord Guinée, en pays malinké.
