Travelling Somewhere

Mais le Brotherhood of Breath intégra également des artistes du britimprov (jazz britannique improvisé), un courant expérimental des années 60/70 en particulier les saxophonistes Evan, Parker et Mike Osborne. Le résultat est une musique libre et bourrée d’énergie et d’improvisation allant de la kwela music, au swing en passant par le highlife, le free jazz, le latin jazz, les musiques de carnaval, le bebop, des influences de Monk et de Count Basie, du gospel et des airs écossais. L’album a été réédité en 2001 par Cuneiform.

It included as well musicians of the BritImpro, a jazz style of the Sixties among whom saxophonists Evan Parker and Mike Osborne. The result is a music full of improvisation and energy, a fusionof kwela , Cape Jazz, highlife, gospel, bebop, latin jazz, Scottish anthems and free jazz. This album has been reissued in 2001 by Cuneiform.
