“ Après des études au Conservatoire, le musicien suisse Adrian Egger découvre le balafon en 1988, au Zürcher carnaval , Quelques années plus tard, il se forme au Burkina Faso auprès de Ali Ouattara, un balafongiste Senoufo de Dakoro puis avec Moussa Hema, balafongiste du Ballet national du Burkina Faso avec qui il coécrit La voix du balafon, une méthode d’enseignement du balafon. After studying at the Conservatoire, Swiss musician Adrian Egger discovered the balafon in 1988 at the Zürcher Carnival. A few years later,he went to Burkina Faso and learnt to play the balafon with Ali Ouattara, a Senoufo balafonist from Dakoro then with Moussa Hema, a balafonist of the National Ballet of Burkina Faso, with whom he co-authored La Voix du balafon, a method of teaching balafon.”
