Ngounda (exiled) is Koffi Olomidé's first solo album . Recorded in Brussels, Ngounda signed the beginning of "Malika Mabe Antoine (Antoine bad blood)'s career. The student, still an apprentice musician, had to cope with the training bands of the capital as Langa Langa Stars, Le Grand Zaiko, Zaiko and Viva la Musica. Three years later, he set up his own band Quartier Latin , a formula used by many artists who then allowed to record albums on their own behalf and that of their orchestra and thus accelerate the pace of output.”
