En 1992, le groupe de jazz américain Brecker Brothers des frères Brecker, Michael et Randy, sort « The Return… », un album enregistré entre autres avec le bassiste et producteur camerounais Armand Sabal-Lecco. Cette collaboration vaudra à ce dernier la reconnaissance de l’Académie Nationale des Arts et des Sciences, NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences), pour son travail exceptionnel sur cet album sacré aux Grammy Awards.
