En novembre 2023, Ash Lauryn & Stefan Ringer lance un remix du titre « Dide O » de Kokoroko, extrait de l’album « Could We Be More ».

Kokoroko

Fondé à Londres, en Angleterre, Kokoroko est un groupe de huit musiciens, dirigé par Sheila Maurice-Grey (Trompette, bugle, Vocals). Influencé par Fela Kuti, Tony Allen et Ebo Taylor, Kokoroko navigue entre afro-beat jazz fusion, afro-jazz et afro-fusion.

Outre la compositrice, trompettiste, interprète et leader Sheila Maurice-Grey, le groupe comprend Ayo Salawu (Drums, Vocals), Cassie Kinoshi (Saxophone alto, Vocals), Mutale Chashi (basse), Onome Edgeworth (Percussion, Vocals), Oscar Jerome (guitare), Richie Seivwright (Trombone, Vocals) et Yohan Kebede (Synthés, Keyboards, Vocals). La formation accueillera d’autres musiciens dont Tobi Adenaike-Johnson (guitare), Duane Atherley (basse) ou encore Richard Olatunde Baker (percussions).
